THE CURL COMPETENCE COURSE
Curl Competence is an online course that the Astyled Team built to teach you how to master your curls at home, using the skills and techniques that we use at the salon daily and on ourselves.
You will learn how to:

your hair without over-cleansing
ü Detangle
without ‘bussin’ up your hair
ü Condition
for maximum hydration
ü Set frizz-free
curls
ü Select
the best product for the job
These will be taught through a
series of step-by-step follow along instruction videos showing you the exact
skills and technique we use on our hair and at the salon. The videos are performed
by two ‘models’, one with a looser curl pattern and one with a tighter curl
pattern.
The videos are housed on a
private platform that you’ll have access to for 21 days so that you can watch
the videos at your own pace, anytime, anywhere, all at once or one by one and
re-watch them as many times as you need to.
The course is self-paced, but we
will be on-hand to coach/guide you throughout the 21 days with anything you
might need help with. We’ll also be doing a few Live Q & As, Look & Learns of stuff we do at the salon and some product reviews.
We set the length at 21 days,
with the intention that this will give you at least 4 weekends to wash and
style your hair while following the videos, tweaking your skills and technique
as the weeks go along.
We’ll be doing the course in
cohorts, with set start and end dates with the first cohort being only available to
you our clients.
